Last Wednesday we took a day off to visit the Balmoral Show. The weather was just perfect. I came across the cattle judging first.

Look at that sky!

I spent a lot of time walking around the sheep pens (of course).

Pigs and goats share a pavillion.

Alpacas!

A yellow tractor…

And the yellow JCB Dancing Diggers in the Main Arena – the first time they’ve been at Balmoral in my lifetime. The synchronised driving doesn’t translate well to still images but it was very impressive in person.

After a delicious burger for lunch, I got myself an ice cream cone and watched some showjumping in the Main Arena.

The Horse Rings were busy busy busy.

A quick stop in the rabbits and poultry pavilion.

(At least we now know the answer to that age-old question.)

A goose.

One more horse for luck.

I had a fun day. Until next year…
